SockBot is a collection of 2,222 NFTs minted on Algorand.

This NFT collection combines crisp 3D art and 175+ unique traits for maximum coolness. Every SockBot is outfitted and ready for war as he searches for his long-lost creator.

The mint price for the public sale will be set at 100 Algo. There will be a presale for Genesis Coin NFT holders as well as select partner communities sold at 75 Algo. Genesis Holders also qualify to mint an NFT with a special trait.

For every SockBot NFT sold, 10% of the proceeds will go to supporting the SOCKS/ALGO liquidity pool, 5% to the community wallet, and 5% to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude wants to cure childhood cancer, and so do we. Our donations will be auditable from our NFD profile "sockbot.algo".

Story

Chapter 1 - The Reboot

Rebooting… Booting Process Complete. System Updates…Location unknown.

Re-energized in an unrecognizable place, SockBot awakens to find the world around him in ruin. His creator is nowhere in sight. He tries to stand up but the weight of the soot-colored sand keeps pulling him down. After soaking in the sun, he was able to gain enough energy to stand up and look around.

Unfortunately, not too far from SockBot, was the remains of a city. He began taking a few steps forward. All of a sudden, a flood of memories swept over SockBot.

A vision of his creator hands him a prized pair of socks before the feed glitches out.

“Where is Professor?”

He starts to panic. Another vision loads.

Compiling himself, he realized that his socks, which the creator had woven, were missing.

NFT Staking

Every SockBot NFT qualifies for weekly staking rewards on the “SOCK Vault”.

Rewards are given in the form of SOCKS Tokens that may be used in the SockHodler ecosystem.

Airdrops

Holders who stake their SockBot NFTs also qualify for periodic airdrops. Some will integrate with the future of the project; some will be as a staker perk.

We've got some cool plans for the future of SockBot utility, but we'll make announcements regarding a specific roadmap once our current initiatives are finished being implemented.

Sock Force One

Purchase 10 SockBot NFTs and stake for at least 1 month to claim a free pair of Physically-Backed NFT Socks that are linked to what will be the next evolution of SockBot.

Members of Sock Force One will have first access to SockBot2.0, which will be an upgradeable ARC-19 NFTs that allow users to level up their NFTs through the use of Spare Parts and daily use of the NFT Scanning feature on the socks. These socks are linked to the blockchain by using Near Field Communication tags embedded in the cuff of the sock and your NFT will be upgradeable in the future.

These limited edition socks will be printed as one-offs and no additional ones will be created for the corresponding NFTs that are minted. Owners of NFT Socks will have access to the “SOCK VAULT”; a dApp that allows you to claim rewards for daily scans, as well as NFT Staking.

NFT License for Copyright

We are adopting the “NFT License” commonly used for Ethereum NFTs.

Owners of SockBot NFTs will have the broad rights to use the art for personal uses as well as commercial uses for up to $100,000 a year in revenue.

We want to encourage the #algofam to create spin-offs and expand on the story and utility of SockBot.
